Getting ready for your Bar or Bat Mitzvah is a meaningful milestone - and yes, it can actually be easier (and more fun) than you think.

I’ll help you get there, step by step.

I’m Liora Cohen. I was born and raised in Israel, eighth generation, in a small countryside village called Kefar Aharon near Rehovot, surrounded by wildflowers, citrus groves, and every kind of curious creature. That’s where my love of nature started, and where my connection to Hebrew and Jewish tradition runs deep.

I moved to the U.S. in 1986 and began teaching B’nai Mitzvah students that same year at Congregation B’nai Israel in Tustin, where I still stay connected today. Since then, I’ve had the joy of working with students all over the world, both in person and online.

I love what I do. I love this language. And I care deeply about helping each student not only learn it, but carry it forward with confidence.

Your Bar/Bat Mitzvah will be “fun-tastic.” I promise.
